Aliahamed Harun: Kalvarayan Hills Bike Trip

Fist Bike trip to "KALVARAYAN HILLS"

This is my first bike trip to hills and I am so much excited me planned to go in bike with friends but some of them agreed to come in bike and others can't but anyhow we planned on 10 August 2014.

Our Plan:
Bikers: Aliahamed, Udaya, Elavarasu, Jeeshan.
Pondicherry to Kalvarayan hills and back to Pondicherry
Total kms : 410
Bike made: Yamaha
Type : Sports
Model : Fz S and Fz 16
Gear: shoe, jacket, helmet, Glove.

Everything Packed up and all came to my home with the bike service done, air checked up and full geared. We started at 5.30 AM its rain drizzling and went to gas station and fueled up and started riding through NH 45A. We reached Villupurum and directed to NH 45 and driven through the road with 70km speed and stopped at a coffee shop kumbakonam degree coffee and had coffee at rain drizzling at 7.30 AM.

We have to ride slow because of rain and reached Kalakurichi at 9 AM and had breakfast at hotel and then again started and it was a single lane road we have to ride slow and sun comes up chill weather and finally reached Goomki Dam and take pictures there and seen the beauties of hills and then started riding to hills. As it is our first ride we should be aware of riding but when we enters it made us to throttle up and seen the beauties.

Periyar falls:
We reached periyar falls but there is no water since we stopped and entered the falls and seen the beauty of nature and take some clips and photos and then started to boat house.

Boat house & Park:
We drive through the curves in hills and I was so much excited and reached the boat house but there are also no boat ride due to low water so we take photos and relaxed there and then we went up to top of the hills and had lunch and then planned to visit megham falls.

Unforgettable Megham Falls:
We asked for the directions from the local people and started to megham falls and there we no roads the road will be very much muddy and also rock gravel our Fz rocked in those roads also but we unable to move in because of short path so we stopped there and there one old man laughed seeing us but we stopped and visited the stagnant water and then go back to home.

Back to home:
After seeing all the places we started at 4.00 PM back to home and reached home at 7 PM. This was a wonderful ride at first time given by nature from that ride I love to ride and hate to arrive and I obey traffic rules. My ride continuous......

Tips for others:
Better to visit at November and December.
